Competition programme – 45 films from 11 countries
The work of the selection committee is now finished. After reviewing more than 20 hours of material, the committee decided that 45 films, roughly one third of 156 submitted films, will be included in the competition programme screened at the 6th edition of the Short Film Festival FF600.
The competition programme consists of 5 animated films, 8 experimental films, 14 documentary films and 18 short fiction films. Works in the competition programme will compete for the Jury prize and the best film of the festival will be awarded the Grand Prix.
The selection committee estimated that overall quality of films submitted in two categories – one minute films and music videos – does not meet the festival criteria. Although some of the works submitted in these two categories exceeded the expectations of the committee, the committee considered it unfair to organize a competition without guaranteeing an appropriate general level of quality.
Therefore the committee has decided that this year these two categories will not be included in the competition programme.

Call for entries is now closed. No further submissions will be accepted.
We thank all authors for submitting their works.
In the next few days (up until 29 April) we should receive the last works sent to us by the deadline for submission.
13 April 2010
Free submission (no applicaton fee)
Dear authors of short films
As you know this is the first year the Short Film Festival FF600 introduced application fee.
We were forced to introduce this exceptional condition, because we did not receive sufficient funds from our sponsors to cover all the costs of the festival.
Today we received additional funds that will enable us to organize the festival without the application fee.
We kindly invite all authors that might have hesitated because of the application fee to submit their works.
Application fees already paid will be refunded.
Deadline for submission: 26th April 2010 (date on the postmark); submissions from abroad must reach the organizer by 29th April 2010.
